I entered Amboseli National Park for the first time. Throughout various parts of my very first day in the park I witnessed massive herds of elephants, dramatic skies, and Mount Kilimanjaro as it loomed over the savanna. It took no stretch of the imagination that capturing all of these subjects in a single frame (in just the right way) could define the essence of E. Africa.
