Moments from nature hiding in plain sight in the single most abundant substance on our planet, unlocked via an obsession with nuance, light, and emotion.
Reminiscent depicts the reflection of a clear blue sky and towering Sugar Pines as seen in the meandering waters of the Merced River in Yosemite National Park. Images in this series evoke emotion in various ways, the color and pattern of each create their own aura. There’s something familiar and comforting about this image, thus the title, Reminiscent.
